How to read it

"Season Spotlight" up top tracks whichever season is picked in the Season filter below it — defaulting to the current season for "All Seasons": 4/5s worth a revisit, and that season's lineup cross-checked against shows you loved in earlier seasons. Pick a past season in the filter and the spotlight switches to that season instead. Below that, numbers at a glance, then a handful of curated angles on the data (rating distribution, ratings over time, best/worst rated, how "Finish Ep" shows held up on a full re-review, OP/ED favorites) — the Season filter scopes those sections to one season instead of the full history. Looking for a specific review? Head back to VQAR for that season, or query the data directly via GraphQL.

Linking to a season

Picking a season updates the URL's ?season= query param, so the link in your address bar always points at whatever's currently on screen — copy it to share that season's stats directly, or append ?season=<id> yourself to jump straight to one.

A note on the numbers

Only entries with a numeric rating count toward averages/rankings - a review can have just a ratingText and still be perfectly valid. Data is fetched fresh on every visit, so this page is only ever as current as the underlying VQAR review data. "Continuing Seasons Worth Watching" matches titles by stripping common sequel markers ("Season 2", "Part 2", roman numerals, etc.) — it's a best-effort text heuristic, not a real season-relation lookup, so an unconventionally-named sequel can still slip through.
